CASEY ELLISON

Casey Ellison has over 20 years of experience in the construction and development industries. He is the CEO of Ellison Construction, a premier general contractor in Tampa. Casey has extensive experience building and developing across all sectors with an emphasis on place-making hospitality projects. Casey has been a part of many of Tampa's most impactful projects, including Oxford Exchange, Stovall House, Armature Works, Hotel Haya, and is a preferred partner for the Hillsborough County School Board, University of Tampa, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

 Casey was an integral part of the team that brought Hotel Haya to Ybor City. Beyond being the project's General Contractor, Casey worked tirelessly on the development side - raising capital, working through entitlements, and guiding the design team. Hotel Haya is a 130,000 square foot lifestyle hotel that helped invigorate and rejuvenate Ybor City as a destination. The final product is a sleek, modern hotel,  with restaurant and event space unlike anything else in Tampa – or Central Florida.

 Casey is passionate about creating spaces that connect with people. Whether guests know it or not, they feel comfortable with and are drawn to spaces that use real materials, and the use of real material is a core philosophy Casey approaches all his developments with.  His involvement in groundbreaking projects throughout Tampa informs his guidance on when to save and when to spend.
